Modern buildings require high-quality air supply and extraction. Users do not want to feel strong air jets or drafts, yet modern building standards demand the circulation of large air volumes. Standard diffusers blow out air in concentrated streams, forming a conical flow similar to a flashlight beam. In contrast, diffusers with the Coanda effect can distribute a high volume of air evenly without a noticeable draft.

What is the Coanda Effect?

It is a phenomenon where an air or fluid stream “sticks” to a convex surface and follows its contours. In air diffusers, this effect allows the airflow to spread parallel to the ceiling instead of being directed downward in jets.
